- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a square baking dish.
- Pour lemon pie filling into the bottom of the dish.
- Top with half of the cake mix, then add cubed cream cheese.
- Sprinkle with the remaining cake mix.
- Place thinly sliced butter pats on top of the cake mix.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.
