Ingredients You’ll Need

  • 1 tbsp raw rice

  • ½ tbsp aloe vera gel (store-bought recommended for longer shelf life)

  • 9–10 drops of glycerin (deep hydration)

  • 1 tbsp rose water (calming & refreshing)

  • 3–4 drops sandalwood essential oil (brightening & soothing)

  • 2 tbsp water (for soaking rice)


Steps to Make Rice Serum

  1. Wash 1 tbsp of raw rice thoroughly to remove dust and impurities.

  2. Add 2 tbsp water and soak the rice for 15–20 minutes.

  3. Strain the water into a clean bowl — this is your rice water base.

  4. In another bowl, mix:

    • ½ tbsp aloe vera gel

    • 9–10 drops glycerin

    • 1 tbsp rose water

    • 3–4 drops sandalwood essential oil

  5. Add 1 tbsp of rice water into the mixture. Stir well until blended.
